Going into Saturday's bout, both Edmen Shahbazyan and Dalcha Lungiambula are on three-fight losing streaks. Incidentally, both fighters have two stoppage losses in each of their last three fights. This fight is important for both fighters, as four straight losses in a row is not a good look on any unranked fighter's resume.

On paper, Shahbazyan has a more impressive record and has more experience fighting at middleweight. Lungiambula has previously fought at heavyweight and light heavyweight. He has had only four fights at middleweight, of which he has lost three.

Moreso, Shahbazyan has more experience fighting ranked opponents, albeit losing to all three of them. On the other hand, the only ranked opponent Dalcha Lungiambula has fought is Magomed Ankalaev, whom the light heavyweight title contender knocked out at UFC Fight Night 163.

According to fightodds.io, Edmen Shahbazyan is the -275 betting favorite against the +265 underdog Dalcha Lungiambula. The fight will take place on the preliminary card of UFC 282 on December 10th, at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada.
