Has Cam Newton retired? Exploring former NFL MVP's current playing status

As of March 2023, former Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton has not officially retired from professional football. However, his future in the NFL remains uncertain.

The quarterback himself, though, has left no stone unturned in ensuring the world knows that he still feels ready for a starting job in the NFL. He recently tweeted that he would be throwing at Auburn's pro day to impress scouts ahead of the 2023 NFL season.
