The news of Jason Oppenheim dating a younger model came out in the open months before the premiere of Selling Sunset season 6. In episode 3, he brought in Marie-Lou to the Oppenheim office to introduce her to his colleagues.

Interestingly, the cast included three ladies whom Jason had dated in the past. He and Nicole Young were in a relationship 13 or 14 years ago, while he dated Mary Fitzgerald before she met her husband Romain. The latest was him and Chrishell Stause, as they were in a relationship in season 5.

When Jason brought in Marie-Lou into the office, Selling Sunset cast members started pulling his legs. Chelsea Lazkani started the age gap conversation by asking the model her age. Marie-Lou said 24 and then corrected it to 25 as it was her birthday. Chelsea further pulled Jason's leg by asking his age. In response, he said he is 45.

Once the couple left, the ladies made fun of their age gap. Throughout the season, the fun banters about their age were featured. In episode 7, Jason confessed to Chrishell that he was serious about his new girlfriend.

Chrishell Stause replied:
