This was a pretty interesting episode of WWE RAW overall

Best and worst of WWE RAW after MITB 2019- 3 title changes, Current champions team up

Let me be honest. I was pleasantly surprised by this episode and while it won't go down in the history books as three exemplary hours of television, I thought that it held my interest throughout the telecast.

Of course, this was the fallout from the WWE Money in the Bank show that I praised to the heavens twenty-four hours ago. While I was upset that I was missing the final ever episode of Game of Thrones which was on at the same time, I was glad to discover that WWE put on quite a show of their own and actually gave their fans their money's worth.

I saw a lot of statuses shortly after the show saying that they want to cancel their WWE Network subscriptions because Brock Lesnar became Mr. Money in the Bank. I think that it is unfair to assess a show based on the final few minutes because the rest of the show was quite solid.

Anyway, enough chit chat...it's time for the review...

#1 Best: Ricochet and Cesaro tear it up

Cesaro and Ricochet had quite a match on this week's show. Cesaro has been a tag team competitor for most of his recent run and as good as The Bar was, it is easy to forget how good a singles competitor he is sometimes.

Ricochet did a few things during the match that defy the laws of gravity and the laws of physics. I am certainly not the only person who believes that these two men should tango again preferably with a title on the line.

Shortly after the incredible Rollins and Styles match, this was another example of just how gifted the main roster can be. There's no reason that all good matches should only happen in NXT.

#1 Worst: The Secret Life of Pets 2

As Cesaro and Ricochet were putting on a show for the ages, WWE showed us commercials for The Secret Lives of Pets 2. Yes, it happened in the middle of the match as Ricochet was doing things that should have had our full attention.

I do understand that it is a source of revenue for WWE, but should it come at the cost of your own television product? I know that I wasn't the only one in the Sportskeeda Chatroom that was annoyed by the constant barrage of advertisements.

And Michael Cole would go on to shill the movie at various points during the night to the point where most of us were pulling at our hair. It was a very clear black mark on what was an otherwise exciting show.

Can we talk about the movie when the action's not happening in the ring, please?

#2 Best: The constant threat of Brock Lesnar

So, I still think that someone else in the roster could have used the Money in the Bank contract rather than awarding the contract to Lesnar. But with Lesnar as Mr. Money in the Bank, there are interesting possibilities. For one, he's not a full-time member of either roster so he can challenge either World Champion.

I loved the final scene of RAW this week after Kofi Kingston and Seth Rollins teamed up to face Corbin and Lashley. Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman circled the ring like sharks would, looking at their prey. There was a feeling of intensity and excitement that few other superstars can induce.

I love the fact that we don't know what will happen next when it comes to Lesnar. As compared to everyone else in the roster, it is this that keeps him special and makes him so popular.

#2 Worst: Not doing anything with Sami Zayn

It's a shame that it is WWE themselves that ruin the things that they initially have done right. I mean you had Sami Zayn return from injury to cut some of the best promos we've heard in quite some time. And then you have him in a meaningless feud with Braun Strowman.

This week, Sami Zayn took on Braun Strowman in a match where he eventually came up short. This is shortly after he was found hung upside down in the backstage area at Money in the Bank, meaning that he was removed from the ladder match. His stock is declining every single week for no fault of his own, really.

Sami Zayn is one of the best talents in the world and will be a massive get for AEW if it ever comes to that. Let's hope it doesn't and WWE pushes him.

#3 Best: The 24/7 Championship

I know that there was a chorus of boos when Mick Foley first unveiled the title. I also know that it is a watered-down, PG version of the WWE Hardcore Championship.

But if you give it a chance, you'll see that this title could ensure in a lot more of the lower-card getting an opportunity that they would otherwise not get. Moreover, it adds an element of uncertainty to the show that could be very exciting indeed in the weeks to follow.

I know that much like me you liked the backstage segment where Robert Roode, searching for an ally in the backstage area, found R-Truth and sought his help. R-Truth would send all the competitors in the match on a wild goose chase and shortly thereafter, pick up the Championship for himself.

I wonder which legends will come back for this title as is being advertised.

#3 Worst: Forgetting about the current tag team champions?

So, the tag team division had a good showcase this week as The Revival and The Usos had a pretty solid match, based on their rivalry. However, the tag team champions are nowhere to be seen and this is indeed a very worrying thing for the future of the said championships.

It is clear as day how little Vince McMahon values the tag team Championships in either brand. I mean you have Daniel Bryan and Rowan become the SmackDown Tag Team Champions and then have them lose to a team from the other brand on the Money in the Bank Kickoff show, strangely enough.

The Viking Raiders were nowhere to be seen on this week's show either. I had assumed that based on their win over Ryder and Hawkins they would get a title shot.

Such is sadly, not the case.

#4 Best/worst: The Firefly Fun House

Honestly speaking, I loved this episode of the Firefly Fun House. I only think that Bray Wyatt is shortly running out of content for his vignettes for these highly anticipated segments. Unfortunately, they need to be accompanied by a return to the ring from him now.

The only reason this is in the worst column is because it was far too short. And not much was conveyed either, except for the fact that 'let me in' will be Bray Wyatt's new catchphrase in the weeks that follow. I'm certainly intrigued and haven't felt this excited about a wrestling segment in quite some time.

I know that a lot of you were disappointed that there was no picture of The Goddess in the Money in the Bank 'Best and worst' article. Which is why I give you this!

Cheers to the most beautiful woman in the world...
