Tonight's Survivor Series pay-per-view featured 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt defending the WWE Universal Championship against Daniel Bryan in one of the main-event matches of the night.

Even with the WWE Universe behind him, the former WWE Champion couldn't put an end to Bray Wyatt and The Fiend retained the title in dominant fashion.

Bray Wyatt vs Daniel Bryan

When the WWE Universal Champion Bray Wyatt took the title to SmackDown, fans were eager to find out who would challenge him for the gold. They didn't have to wait long as The Fiend attacked Daniel Bryan in the backstage area on an episode of SmackDown before Survivor Series. It was followed by Bray Wyatt asking the former WWE Champion to fight him and for that, he even agreed to the terms of Daniel Bryan to put his WWE Universal Championship on the line.

Thus, the match was set for the pay-per-view and Bryan received his first-ever shot at the Universal Title. Despite his valiant efforts, he wasn't successful in snatching the gold away from The Fiend and hence, the WWE Universal Champion remains undefeated on the main roster.
