Daniel Bryan was backstage on SmackDown and said that Sami Zayn was exploiting every loophole and using sneaky tricks to keep his title on him. He said he would take the Intercontinental title to prove that Zayn is delusional.

The Mysterio family including Dominik, Aalyah, and Murphy were backstage when King Corbin came out to mock them, calling them a bunch of losers before moving on.

After a short recap of the Undertaker's farewell, Sami Zayn was out to talk sh*t about Thanksgiving and said that he already beat Bryan at WrestleMania already and shouldn't have to face him again.

The match began on SmackDown regardless of Sami Zayn's complaints and Zayn was on the top rope early in the match when Bryan kicked him off it to the outside. Bryan went for a dive to the outside and missed, hitting the barricades instead.

Bryan had the advantage before he was sent into a ring post before Zayn hit a brainbuster on the apron. After a near fall, Bryan went for an armbar and transitioned to the Yes lock but Sami Zayn found the ropes.
