Demon Slayer season 4 number of episodes

Demon Slayer Season 4 (Hashira Training Arc) has eight episodes, the fewest ever aired in a season. It is confirmed that further arcs will be a trilogy split into three movies. It was not the season of amazing action scenes we saw in the previous season, but this season was the build-up for the final arc of the anime series.

Demon Slayer follows the story of a young boy, Kamado Tanjiro, who is the main character of the series. He lives in a remote area with his family and cuts wood to sell in the town, but one day, when he is not able to go back home due to heavy snowfall, his family is killed by a demon. Later, when he comes back home, he sees his sister turned into a demon, but he can control it. From there, the story starts when he becomes the Demon Slayer Corps member.

List of episodes aired in Demon Slayer season 4

Fans were a bit disappointed when they got to know that Season 4 of Demon Slayer would have only eight episodes, but then came the 7th and 8th episodes, which broke records on many streaming platforms like Crunchyroll. After Episode 8 was released, servers went down due to a high volume of viewership.

The season ends with a cliffhanger: All the Hashira and Demon Slayer Corps enter the Infynite castle, where they fight against the Upper three demons. Zenitsu also fights against his senior Kaigaku, who becomes the Upper-Rank Six.
