How many Berserk Arcs there?

Five Berserk arcs have been released to date, and the manga is still ongoing. It was resumed once again in April 2024 and was written by Kentaro Miura.

List of Berserk Arcs: From Black Swordsman Arc to Fantasia Arc

1. Black Swordsman Arc: Volumes 1-3

The first arc of the Berserk series is the Black Swordsman Arc, which contains Volume (1-3) and is Published from 1989 to 1990. In this arc, the anime's main protagonist, Guts, is introduced as a swordsman who carries a huge black sword and fights against demons.

2. Golden Age Arc: Volumes 3-14

The second arc, Golden Age Arc, was published in 1990 and published in its last volume in 1997. This arc focuses on Gutts, his time with Band of the Hawk, his relationship with Griffith, and his fight with Griffith.

3. Conviction Arc: Volumes 14-21

The third arc, Conviction Arc's first volume, was published in 1997, and the last volume, in 2002, covered the story of one of the strongest demon forces, the Apostles, who attacked the region of Albion and Guts while being imprisoned by the Holy Iron Chain Knights.

4. The Falcon of the Millennium Empire Arc: Volumes 22-35

The fourth arc, Falcon of the Millennium, is the longest arc of the series, as the first volume was released in 2002 and finished in 2018. In this arc, Guts and his allies get to know all about the secrets of the Skull Knight, and the amazing moment of this arc is when Guts gets his Berserker Armour.

5. Fantasia Arc: Volumes (35-)

The fifth arc, Fantasia, is an ongoing arc with 35 to 43 volumes published so far. In it, Guts and his allies go to the new realm, Fantasia, to find the cure for Casca’s mental state that Griffith destroyed. They are in the Elfhelm, who is known to have the power to restore the Casca's mental state, but they are finding the person who can cure her.
