Following the reappearance of the Serpoians with their new allies in the previous installment, fans are eager for any information they can find on Dandadan episode 9. Unfortunately, early leaks are extremely rare for anime, making it unlikely that fans will get any significant information or look at the upcoming installment’s production before its release.

However, fans do have the Dandadan episode 9 preview, which provides at least an idea of what to expect from the upcoming release, even if it does not offer a full picture. The Dandadan episode 9 preview opens with a shot of a Serpoian seemingly holding someone or something up and looking at them. Okarun is then seen in his Turbo Granny form, likely teasing that he will at least fight the Serpo alongside Aira Shiratori, if not in her stead. The preview’s next scene makes the latter seem more likely, as Aira can be seen fighting the boxer-like alien on her own in her Acrobatic Silky form.

She’s seen getting an edge on the alien and even sending it flying with a rising kick to its jaw. The preview then jumps to an entirely different scene, bathed in a green light rather than the gold of the previous scenes. Okarun is seen getting excited over something, likely an alien or cryptid, with Aira looking at him with infatuation. This hilariously prompts Momo to put her hands in between each of their heads and push them apart, clearly annoyed.

The three are then shown working together as they dive into the water, apparently targeting the sea-creature-like alien that is seen just ahead of them in this shot. The preview reveals the episode’s title, “Merge! Serpo Dover Demon Nessie!” before showing a final scene of Momo being attacked by the sea-creature-like alien. With all of this in mind, there are some clear expectations fans can safely have for the next installment.

Firstly, Dandadan episode 9 should see Okarun and Aira get closer as they fight and talk. This development makes sense both as a means of cementing Aira’s place in the friend group as well as providing more conflict for Momo and Okarun’s romantic relationship. It will also give an opportunity for fans to become more familiar with Aira’s new powers, likely showing her growing pains with them as well.

Fans can also expect to see the full trio interact, at least briefly, as they seemingly team up to take down their intergalactic enemies. Additionally, viewers can expect to learn more about the two new aliens the Serpoians brought with them in Dandadan episode 9. It’s also possible that Aira’s backstory may be further explored, building upon the scenes of Silky’s life that focused on Aira specifically and individually.
