Monday, November 25, 2024, saw the release week for One Piece chapter 1132 finally begin, bringing with it news of what the manga’s schedule in the early weeks of December looks like. Per X user and reputable series leaker and news source @pewpiece (Pew), there is no scheduled break for the series after chapter 1132’s release. In other words, fans seem set to get two chapters in a row to start the month of December 2024.
However, the first leaks for One Piece chapter 1132 also saw an initial batch of spoilers be revealed much earlier than they typically are. Likewise, the tradeoff is that these spoilers are very brief and relatively uninformative compared to what fans are used to. Nevertheless, they paint an exciting picture for the upcoming issue, which allegedly sees Luffy reunite with his Elbaph group of Straw Hats and more.
One Piece chapter 1132 sees the Straw Hat reunion begin with Luffy and the Elbaph group as unseen danger lurks
The very brief One Piece chapter 1132 spoilers released alongside the manga’s schedule news begin with a reunion in the issue. Per these spoilers, also shared by Pew, the issue begins with the Straw Hats, including Luffy, arriving at the village in the center of Elbaph. This is presumably the village on the other side of the rope bridge Zoro and co were crossing, as well as the one directly above Loki where the key to free him is.
Apparently, they all arrive just in time to see Road defeated by Gerd and Goldberg. Spoilers don’t specify, but Road likely saw the Straw Hats and tried attacking them again, leading his crewmates to attack him in turn. Everyone is then seen reacting to the breathtaking scenery of Elbaph, with narration also describing its grandeur.
The chapter concludes with a note from Louis Arnote, better known as the explorer who described the island of Little Garden and the origin of its name in the in-series book Brag Men. In any case, Arnote speaks on Elbaph here, warning readers not to linger on the island nation for too long. This is followed by the conclusive shot of the issue, which sees a silhouette walking through the woods of Elbaph.
As mentioned above, Pew also confirmed that there is no scheduled break week for the series following One Piece chapter 1132’s official release on Monday, December 2, 2024, in Japan. This confirms that fans will at least be getting two chapters in a row, and also suggests that mangaka Eiichiro Oda is back to his regular three-on-one-off release schedule. This would also fit perfectly with the upcoming Christmas holiday and the Shueisha publication breaks it will cause.
