Why did Yuta Okkotsu not appear during the Shibuya Arc?
Yuta Okkotsu did not appear in the Shibuya Arc in Jujutsu Kaisen because he was training in Africa with Miguel to sharpen his skills. Gojo had instructed him to go during Jujutsu Kaisen 0’s climax when Yuta defeated Geto. Still, he did appear in the last episode of Jujutsu Kaisen’s second season when the Culling Game arc starts, as he saves a girl from a cursed spirit who was about to kill her.
Gojo fought with Miguel during the movie and because he was impressed by his cursed technique and combat skill, Gojo told Yuta to train with Miguel so he could become more powerful.
Gojo won’t get sealed if Yuta stays in Japan or if he comes back to Japan when Jujutsu High goes to fight against their enemies. This is because he is one of the sorcerers who could have defeated Mahito, who killed Nanami during the Arc. This was one of the saddest moments for Jujutsu Kaisen fans, as Nanami is one of the favorite characters in the series.

When will Yuta Okkotsu appear in the Jujutsu Kaisen series?
Yuta Okkotsu will appear in the Culling Game arc of Jujutsu Kaisen, as the manga chapter 137 already confirmed his arrival when he almost killed Yuji Itadori. However, he later told Yuji about him as Gojo already told Yuta to save Yuji in his absence.
