Tower of God is an action and dark fantasy South Korean Manhwa written and illustrated by Lee Jong-Hui, commonly known as S.I.U (Salve in Utero). On November 12, 2019, Young Com concurrently released its first and second collected volumes.

Season 2 overview

Season 2 of Tower of God begins where season 1 left off, with a time jump in story progression. The obstacles other characters in the Tower face become the primary focal point of the plot, instead of Baam's initial climb.

Production

During their industry panel at Crunchyroll Expo in August 2022, Crunchyroll revealed that a second season was now in production. The season, titled Kami no Tō: Ouji no Kikan (Tower of God: Return of the Prince), is chiefly directed by Kazuyoshi Takeuchi and produced by The Answer Studio. Akira Suzuki is the director. First showing was on July 7, 2024. NiziU performs both the "Rise Up" opening theme song and the "Believe" closing theme song.
