Tokyo Revengers is a Japanese manga series created by Ken Wakui. The story centers around Takemichi Hanagaki, a 26-year-old part-timer with a gloomy life, who discovers that his ex-girlfriend, Hinata Tachibana, has died in a feud involving the Tokyo Manji Gang. Someone pushes Takemichi off the subway platform the following day as he is on his way back from his part-time job. Just before being struck, he instantly travels back twelve years to the year he first dated Hinata. After realizing this, he resolves to stop at nothing to save her life.

Tetta Kisaki is the main antagonist of the series. He is a cunning, manipulative gangster who is determined to take over as head of the Tokyo Manji Gang and make it the biggest criminal organization in Japan. This made him Takemichi Hanagaki's, Manjiro "Mikey" Sano's, and Ken "Draken" Ryuguji's archenemy since he is accountable for numerous tragedies in the story, such as the deaths of Hinata Tachibana and Keisuke Baji.

Tetta Kisaki is one of the Top Admins of the Tokyo Manji Gang in the current timeline and is responsible for giving the order to kill Hinata Tachibana in multiple timelines. As the vice-captain of the Tokyo Manji Gang, he planned to take over the gang.

Tetta Kisaki’s Background

Kisaki was very close to Hinata Tachibana when they were kids. They both attended the same cram school. Given his high IQ, Kisaki consistently achieved the highest scores on exams. He was consequently ostracized by the other kids, leaving him feeling incredibly isolated. But Hinata was the only person who showed him basic decency. Her generosity deeply touched Kisaki, who eventually fell in love with her.

One day, Kisaki witnessed Hinata being harassed while strolling home. But he was so afraid that he hid behind a wall and watched the whole thing happen, rather than going to save her. Takemichi suddenly jumps into the fight and starts fighting the bullies. During Takemichi's act of valor, Kisaki notices Hinata's gaze and realizes that she has fallen in love with him. Because of this, he develops a strong dislike for Takemichi since he feels that he has stolen Hinata from him.

Tetta Kisaki in Tokyo Revengers

The first time Kisaki's name appears is in a dialogue between Takemichi and Naoto. According to the latter, there is no way that Kisaki and Mikey should meet in July 2005 because doing so would cause the Toman of 2017 to turn into a very violent gang and result in Hinata's death. Takemichi time travels to distract Draken and Mikey so they won't see Toman's leader or Kisaki's meeting. Nevertheless, Kisaki takes over as the captain of the third division, replacing Pachin, who was incarcerated following the accident involving the Moebius' leader, Osanai, following the neighborhood party event on August 3rd and the subsequent reunion of the Moebius and Tokyo Manji Gang.

The events of 2017 are a little hazy as Naoto informed that Kisaki, not Mikey, took over as the Toman's temporary leader. He had replaced Draken earlier, having been given a death sentence for a murder he had committed. Kisaki terrorizes Atsushi, Takemichi's childhood pal. It is, incidentally, the reason he committed suicide in 2017; he was too worn out by the terror and anguish the temporary gang leader brought. Then, it becomes clear that Kisaki is a very terrifying leader. His behavior is so terrifying that he inadvertently encourages his followers to end their lives.

Kisaki has demonstrated that he is capable of being a cold-blooded killer, whether via his actions or through the help of Draken or Kazutora.
