For Alex Bregman's wife, Reagan, the offseason carries significant importance. After the busy season winds down, the MLB wife can take some time to focus on some of the things in life that get missed during the busy summer months.

On Sunday, Reagan took to social media to direct a message to Sam Hayden, who is apparently Reagan's best friend. In her story post, Reagan wished Sam a happy birthday and asked her to come back to Texas.

Included in the photo of Reagan and her friends was her three-year-old son Knox. A devoted baseball fan, Reagan often takes Knox to Houston Astros games to cheer on Alex Bregman.

A graduate of Texas A&M University, Reagan has thrown herself into various entrepreneurial ventures over the years. In addition to her busy schedule as a wife and mother, the Louisiana-born Reagan also founded Exiza, an athleisure apparel brand.

In 2024, Alex Bregman's Astros met an early end, losing to the Detroit Tigers in the AL Wild Card Series. With Alex not participating in the ALCS for the first time since 2016, the Bregman family will certainly have more chances to spend more quality time together this fall.

After a bumpy start to the 2024 season, Bregman rallied. In 145 games in the 2024 MLB season, the New Mexico-born third baseman hit .260/.315/.453 with 26 home runs and 75 RBIs.

Astros GM keen on keeping Alex Bregman around

After the Astros' elimination, Bregman saw his five-year, $100 million deal with the Astros expire. As such, the time has come for his agent, Scott Boras, to hammer out a new deal in Houston. There seems to be a will in Houston, as Astros GM Dana Brown told Chron:

"Ultimately we want Bregman to stay, he's done a lot of good things here in the orgaization, I've had some conversations with Boras and we've talked about meeting up at the end of the season and having some good conversations."

Although some important conversations need to happen soon, Bregman and his family are enjoying an extended offseason. For this young family, the future could hold any number of possibilities.
