In 2022, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported on Harper's incident where the MLB star recalled his chilling 'supernatural' experience of living at the Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee.

"I laid a pair of jeans and a shirt on that table at the foot of the bed. When I woke up in the morning — I swear on everything — the clothes were on the floor and the table was on the opposite side of the room."

The hotel has gained notoriety for its odd episodes that terrified several MLB players.The hotel, which opened in 1893 and is arguably the most well-known hotel in the city, has received complaints from prominent MLB players.
