MLB All-Star Albert Pujols and Nicole Fernandez exchange vows in a fairytale wedding

There were wedding bells for former MLB player Albert Pujols, who tied the knot with Nicole Fernandez.

Fernandez, whom Pujols has been dating for some time, revealed the news on her social media account. She shared a picture in which the couple can be seen posing in what seems to be their wedding outfit.

Fernandez posted the picture with an adorable caption, which read:

"Here I am baby…signed, sealed, delivered…I’m yours ❤️💌🎼 "

Pujols, who split with Diedre and his wife of 22 years, started dating Fernandez some time ago.

Last year, when Pujols hit his 700th career home run, Fernandez took to social media to shower her love and congratulate Pujols. Fernandez posted an adorable selfie.

To a local journalist, Pujols acknowledged dating Fernandez in 2022, the daughter of the former president of the Dominican Republic, Leonel Fernandez. Several posts on Pujols and Fernandez's social media pages revealed their relationship.

According to the Cleveland American, former president Leonel Fernandez made the following comments about Nicole and Pujols' connection in an interview with Santiago Matias:

“I don’t know, because there’s always been a friendly relationship. The friendship with Albert has been for a long time, for years. So, I don’t know how to tell him. So, if I do, admit it now, but actually it’s always been friendly, coming.”

Pujols has enjoyed a successful career. He played for the Cardinals for his first 11 seasons, the LA Angels for more than nine seasons and the LA Dodgers for half a season before retiring as a Cardinal after last season.
