A college baseball commentator's comical gaffe on air left viewers in splits after he misinterpreted the word 'hitter' for 'Hitler.'

The comical error occurred at the top of the sixth innings during a college baseball game between Ole Miss and Jax State, when the announcer hilariously mistook the word 'hitter' for 'Hitler', the infamous German dictator.

He was quick to apologize for his error as soon as he realized what he'd done! He said:

"Designated Hitler. Excuse me, designated hitter lookin' to get aboard. Sorry about that folks!" the announcer.

Harmless in any shape or form, the commentator's comments either left viewers in a state of hysteria or aghast, at the accidental error.
