Astros ace Jose Altuve and his wife Nina enjoyed a romantic dinner date on Tuesday evening. She took to social media to share some images from the night, showcasing Altuve rocking a white shirt for the dinner date. Take a look at the images here:

Jose Altuve and Nina started their relationship when they were in their teens in Maracay, Venezuela. They got married a year before Altuve was signed as an international free agent by the Astros in 2007. He spent a little over three years in the minors before earning a promotion to the big leagues in 2011.

He has spent 14 seasons in the MLB with the Astros, earning nine All-Star nods, two World Series, seven silver slugger awards, and was named the AL MVP in 2017. Giannina has been a constant presence throughout Jose's journey in the big leagues.

The couple are proud parents to two kids both daughters. The elder one Melanie Andrea was born in 2016 and the younger one in 2020. Together, the family reside in Pearland, Texas.

Altuve is expected to retire with the Astros after they extended the second baseman's contract by five years starting from the 2025 season for a whopping $125 million during the offseason.
