Fans reacted as Jazz Chisholm Jr. and the New York Yankees punched their ticket to the ALCS after defeating the Kanas City Royals 3-1 in Game 4. The Yanks had a strong outing, with Gerrit Cole on the mound. Cole's pitching his way through seven innings, giving up just one run.

The Royals had the tying run on base but failed to score as their opponents triumphed with their strong defense. While the game was going at a solid pace, things quickly escalated as the benches got cleared in the bottom of the sixth inning.

Anthony Volpe made a double play to tag Maikel Garcia at second base, but Garcia wasn't pleased with his gesture after the tag, which quickly escalated into a bench-clearing incident. There was no scuffle, and no players were ejected. Yet Jazz Chisholm Jr. was fired up with the incident, and the umpire was seen holding him off from taking things further.

Jazz Chisholm Jr. was booed at Kauffman Stadium after his comment that the Royals got lucky by winning Game 2. Each time Chisholm stepped up to the plate, he was booed by Royals fans.

The Yankees were in high spirits during their celebration as they continued to boo Chisholm in the clubhouse. Chisholm's teammates were seen trolling him for the boos received at Kauffman Stadium.

The Yanks now return to New York to open the ALCS with the Tigers or the Guardians.
