Kyle Tucker's wife Samantha fondly looks back at Astros star's incredible performance against Phillies in 2022 World Series

Chicago Cubs outfielder Kyle Tucker’s wife Samantha took to social media to reminisce about the final out of the 2022 World Series.

Samantha’s post on her Instagram story depicted former Houston Astros reliever Ryan Pressley recording a save, allowing the Astros to take home the World Series championship.

Here’s a look at the story which had a caption that read:

“The Pressley fam is coming to Chicago!!!”

The caption alluded to the fact that the Chicago Cubs acquired Ryan Pressley from the Astros. According to Baseball America, Pressley waived his no-trade clause to join Kyle Tucker in Chicago.

The trade reunited the former teammates as the Cubs look to make a serious postseason run next season.

Samantha’s post ended with a simple rallying call:

“Let’s go cubbies.”

Tucker’s arrival in Chicago generated plenty of hype around the Cubs’ chances to win it all this season. With Pressley in the fold, those chances have gotten substantially better.

In the meantime, the Tucker and Pressley families will have a chance to catch up on old times in the Windy City.

Kyle Tucker married his high school sweetheart

Kyle Tucker and Samantha Scott got married in January 2024. The couple had met back in high school in 2015. After graduating from Plant High School in Florida, the couple began dating in 2017.

After several years of dating, which included Tucker’s journey to the Major Leagues, the couple announced their engagement on social media in December 2022.

They eventually tied the knot in an intimate ceremony.

Since then, the couple has gone through a full season in Houston followed by a trade to Chicago.

Tucker is set to become a free agent after the 2025 season. While it may be too soon to talk about a new contract, it seems the couple is excited about setting up roots in Chicago. So, there might be a chance that Kyle and Samantha Tucker stay in Chicago for the foreseeable future.

In the meantime, the Tucker family will be looking to welcome the Pressleys as the Cubs family continues to grow with new members joining for this upcoming season.
