On Thursday, Team Italy fell to 1-1 in Pool A of the World Baseball Classic, losing 11-7 to Chinese Taipei. The Italians will look to rebound on Thursday night as they face Team Panama, who currently sit last in the group with a record of 1-2.

Italy and Chinese Taipei played out one of the most exciting and highest-scoring games of the tournament. Italian manager Mike Piazza and his squad will now need to refocus and pick up a victory in their must-win game against Panama.

The game, which is set to kick off at 11:00 pm ET, could play a major factor in which team will advance to the second round. If Panama walks away with a victory, they will still have an opportunity to advance in the international tournament. However, a loss will more than likely eliminate the Panamaians.

A look at the MLB talent that will be in action for both Panama and Italy

Both teams will feature a mix of former and current MLB talents. Italy will be headlined by the likes of Vinnie Pasquantino and Matt Harvey. They also feature Nicky Lopez of the Kansas City Royals, David Fletcher of the Los Angeles Angels, and Sam Gaviglio, who spent time with the Toronto Blue Jays.

Team Panama, on the other hand, will rely on the MLB experience of Christian Bethancourt of the Tampa Bay Rays, and Jaime Barría of the Los Angeles Angels.
