LA Angels ace outfielder Mike Trout drove a hard bargain for a limited-edition Topps baseball card featuring both him and Yankees captain Aaron Judge. Trout made these negotiations while on a FaceTime call with the seller at Fanatics Fest, which was held last weekend.

In the video uploaded by Topps on Instagram, Mike Trout was seen shaking his head at the initial asking price by the seller. But ultimately, after negotiating for some time, he successfully struck a deal.

Take a look at the video here:

"Trout drives a tough bargain but gets the deal done 😅✅ If you played in MLB, would you collect cards of yourself? 🤔," Topps wrote in the caption.

Mike Trout has been out of action since suffering a knee injury on April 29 against the Philadelphia Phillies. He was diagnosed with a torn meniscus on his left knee and underwent surgery on May 3.

Weeks after the surgical procedure, he started his rehab. But as he was gaining traction to complete his rehabilitation successfully, he tore his left meniscus yet again in a minor league game. The MRI scans showed the new meniscus tear, which meant that the star slugger was out for the rest of the season.

Before his injury, Trout was hitting .220 with 10 home runs and 14 RBIs, with a .867 OPS. The Angels will be hopeful that their star player will bounce back from this injury-riddled season and work his way to the top of the AL next season.

Mike Trout and his son, Beckham, pulled up the Angels star's rookie season card

In an endearing video posted by Mike Trout on Instagram last week, he, along with his son Beckham, opened a 2009 Bowman card box together in an attempt to find the ace OF's rookie season card.

As Trout opened a pack, he shuffled through the cards and surprisingly found his own rookie season card with the Angels. An ecstatic Mike exclaimed:

"No way, dude, no way! Let's go! We just pulled it. We just pulled a monster! Let's go, baby!"

His son high-fived him in jubilation as he found his father's rookie season card, which made this box opening even more worthwhile for the father-son duo.
