Buster Posey, a former professional baseball catcher from the United States, is married to his high school love, Kristen. Both Kristen and Buster were born in Leesburg, Georgia, where they first met while studying for the SAT in high school. In 2009, the couple wed in Leesburg.

Buster Posey: A Lifetime of Legends

From 2009 until his retirement at the conclusion of the 2021 season, Posey played for the San Francisco Giants throughout his entire twelve-year Major League Baseball (MLB) career.

In the first round of the 2008 MLB draft, the Giants selected him with the fifth overall pick. On September 11, 2009, Posey made his MLB debut.

In the year 2013, the Giants beat the Detroit Tigers in four games to win their second World Series. Posey signed an eight-year, $167 million contract extension with the Giants in 2013, which set a franchise record.

The following year, he won his third World Series title as the Giants defeated the Kansas City Royals. After Pete Rose, Posey is the second player in MLB history to win the Rookie of the Year award, the League MVP award, and three World Series titles.

The player hit 100 home runs for the first time in his career during the 2015 season. Additionally, for the third time in his career, he was selected to the All-Star Game.

With the San Francisco Giants, Buster Posey won the MVP award, was named rookie of the year, was a seven-time All-Star, and won three World Series championships.

The 35-year-old former catcher has joined the proprietorship bunch. Posey is the first former player to hold the position of principal partner for the Giants.
