The Yankees finally found some form as they triumphed over the Blue Jays in the second game of the intra-divisional series taking place at Rogers Centre. This came on the back of a four-game losing streak where New York was battered both defensively and offensively.
The Yankees managed only three wins from their four previous series against the Red Sox, Orioles, Braves, and Mets. Even in Game 1 of their series at Rogers Centre, they were beaten comprehensively, with the Blue Jays prevailing 9-2 and Carlos Rodon earning the loss.
Things didn't look the best on Saturday either for Yankees starter Marcus Stroman who exited the game after 4.1 innings of three-run ball. However, the Blue Jays pitching faltered after, with starting pitcher Yusei Kikuchi and bullpen arms Nate Pearson and Tim Mazya earning more than three runs each.

Yankees vs Blue Jays: Game 3 Predictions
The odds favor the Yankees heading into the game after their rebound victory. However, the Yankees will be concerned with starter Nestor Cortes Jr. on the mound. In his 18th start of the season, Cortes would like to improve his 4-6 record with a 3.40 ERA. Although he will be confident after his three-run, seven-inning performance against the Braves in his last start.
Once again, the entire offensive responsibility will lie on the dynamic duo of Aaron Judge and Juan Soto, both of who have already homered in this series.
The Blue Jays start this game as the underdogs. Chris Bassitt (6-6, 3.45 ERA) will start on the mound for his 17th start. They will rely on their best offensive player, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. who is batting .291 this season and has been linked to a trade with the Bombers.
