Alex Rodriguez, a New York Yankees legend, had an illustrious MLB career. Unfortunately, the marriage of the World Series Champion was turbulent.

A-Rod was married to Cynthia Scurtis from 2002 to 2008 before Scurtis filed for divorce. Reports surfaced that Rodriguez was reportedly seeing pop star Madonna in 2008 and that was the reason behind the All-Star's separation from his wife.

Despite the cheating allegations, Rodriguez's ex-father-in-law came out in support of the Yankees star.

In 2007, The Post quoted Rodriguez's ex-father-in-law saying:

“We think he’s a great guy. We support him 100 percent. He loves his wife. He loves his family. The press is making something out of nothing.”

Rodriguez shares two daughters Natasha and Ella with ex-wife Scurtis.

In an attempt to wish Scurtis a happy birthday, Rodriguez took to Instagram to praise her for being "a wonderful mother and role model" to their girls.

Today I am celebrating someone very special in my life. Someone who continues to make a difference in my daughters’ lives every day and has my eternal respect and admiration. A very happy birthday to you, Cynthia!! - Alex Rodriguez

Rodriguez has dated several women in the past, including superstar Jennifer Lopez. The couple even got engaged in 2019 but their wedding plans got delayed due to the pandemic. However, they called off the wedding in 2021.

J.Lo is now married to Ben Affleck and Rodriguez is currently dating Canadian-based fitness enthusiast and entrepreneur Jaclyn Cordeiro.

Almost didn’t make it into 2023 - Alex Rodriguez

After his playing career came to an end, Rodriguez transitioned into the media, working as an anchor for ABC News, a Shark Tank cast member, and a Fox Sports 1 announcer. ESPN announced that Rodriguez would be joining the Sunday Night Baseball broadcast crew in January 2018.

The first episode of the series, "Back In The Game," in which Rodriguez will help former athletes make a comeback in their personal lives, premiered on the network in March 2018 after being confirmed as its host by CNBC in January 2017.

Rodriguez played 22 seasons in the MLB and contributed significantly to the Yankees' success.
