When Atlanta Braves legend Chipper Jones found his soulmate after 2 failed marriages 

Atlanta Braves legend Chipper Jones and Taylor Higgins have enjoyed married life since 2015. Higgins, a former Playboy model, is the third spouse of the former baseball player.

Jones' first two marriages had ended in divorce and he wasn't sure if he was ready to dip his toes into the wedding pool again.

In an article for the Players' Tribune in 2017, Jones provided some advice to his younger self. He explained that his younger self shouldn't worry as he would go on to marry a "wonderful and inspiring woman."

"You’ll be married to a wonderful and inspiring woman named Taylor. And the two of you will love nothing more than spending time together and enjoying the company of family and good friends," he wrote.

In an interview with Times-Union's Gene Frenette in April 2017, Jones addressed his relationship with Taylor, as well as his first two marriages. He explained that he initially wasn't too keen on the idea of getting married for the third time.

“I wasn’t looking to get married. It was a point of contention with me and Taylor for a while. I met her in the summer of 2012, two or three months after Sharon and I separated. I told her I was never going to get married again, and I didn’t want to have kids. I was adamant about that."

"It’s been different with Taylor. They all love Taylor. I can’t tell you how many times my parents come over for dinner each week. I was married to Sharon for 12 years and my parents maybe had dinner with us once a year around the holidays," Jones added.

Jones married Higgins on June 14, 2015, in the Bahamas. The couple have two children together, Cutler and Cooper.
