When Jose Canseco's ex-wife Jessica felt a firestorm of passion for the 2X World Series champion at first sight

Infidelity marred former MLB player José Canseco and Jessica’s marriage, which resulted in a divorce in 2000. However, his ex-wife was head over heels when she first saw the former Oakland Athletics icon and experienced love at first sight.

In Jessica's memoir, 'Juicy: Confessions of a Former Baseball Wife,' as reported by ABC News, Jessica wrote:

"He was as stunningly handsome a man as I'd ever seen, and he took my breath away."

Jessica first met the 2X World Series Champion while she was a waitress at Hooters. They dated for some time prior to being married in August 1996.

Their tumultuous relationship veers between private investigators and divorce lawyers, from steroids to pregnancy, marriage to the birth of a darling daughter, and more.

Jose Canseco accused Alex Rodriguez of having an illicit relationship with ex-wife in 2008

In 2008, Canseco was quoted by the New York Post as claiming he thought Rodriguez and Jessica were having an affair. Rodriguez, however, refuted the charges.

Canseco said:

“I believe they had an affair. I’m pretty sure of it. I spoke with Alex and he denied it, but the way he denied it, it wasn’t reassuring. I spoke to my ex-wife last year about it and I’m not going to say she acknowledged that they did, but she did not say that they did not.”

Again in 2019, Canseco accused Rodriguez and even said that he was cheating on his then-girlfriend Jennifer Lopez. However, Jessica refuted the charges Jessica said they were all false accusations.

"Watching World of Dance watching J.Lo text Alex Rodriguez little does she know that he is cheating on her with my ex-wife Jessica poor girl she has no idea who he really is," Jose Canseco wrote.

Those false accusations Jose is making are not true! have known Alex for many years and haven’t even seen him for over 5. I certainly did not sleep with him. I am friendly with both him and Jennifer. As for Jose he can keep playing with his Alien friends - Jessica Canseco

Canseco had an illustrious MLB career, but his personal life was quite tumultuous. He admitted to using performance-enhancing drugs during his major-league playing career.
