When Jose Canseco's wife Jessica dismissed affair rumors with Alex Rodriguez

Former New York Yankees player Alex Rodriguez was previously accused by MLB veteran Jose Canseco of having an affair with his ex-wife Jessica. Canseco accused A-Rod and his ex-wife of having an unlawful connection in a few tweets he published in 2019.

Jessica, however, refuted the charges.

"Those false accusations Jose is making are not true! I have known Alex for many years and haven’t even seen him for over 5. I certainly did not sleep with him. I am friendly with both him and Jennifer. As for Jose he can keep playing with his Alien friends."

Jessica argued that she specifically re-downloaded the Twitter application to dispel the allegations of infidelity.

"In fact I don’t even get on twitter had to download app again and don’t watch tv and had no idea any of this was going on. Last time I saw Alex he was with Torrie and I brought my boyfriend over for dinner. We are just friends my god."

In 2008, the New York Post quoted Canseco's claim that he thought Rodriguez and Jessica were having an affair.

“I believe they had an affair. I’m pretty sure of it. I spoke with Alex and he denied it, but the way he denied it, it wasn’t reassuring. I spoke to my ex-wife last year about it and I’m not going to say she acknowledged that they did, but she did not say that they did not.”

Canseco and Rodriguez have both played for the New York Yankees in the past.

Canseco prophesied that A-Rod and Jennifer Lopez would break up their long engagement. Canseco also accused Rodriguez of cheating on his fiancée.

Rodriguez dated superstar J.Lo for a couple of years and the duo was regarded as one of the most powerful celebrity couples.
