BGIS 2024 Round 4: Dates, format, and how to watch

The fourth and crucial round of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2024 is set to be held from May 23 to May 26. Several top-tier teams will compete against each other for a spot in the Semifinals. Additionally, many rising talents have earned their places in Round 4 and will aim to present their strength and skills against experienced clubs.

Round 3 of the India Series recently wrapped up with the 48 squads progressing to this round. A total of 256 teams were featured in the third round to determine 48 participants for the fourth stage and 16 teams for the Wildcard Entry phase.


BGIS 2024 Round 4 format and dates

The upcoming round will feature 64 teams, including 48 from Round 3 and 16 from the Grind. These teams have been seeded into four groups and each will play six games across four maps. The first to fourth-ranked teams from each group will be advanced to the Semifinals, while the remaining teams will qualify for the Wildcard Entry stage.

In April 2024, Krafton hosted the Grind event featuring 256 teams. The best 16 teams have directly been picked up for this fourth round. Round 2 featured 32 teams (33rd to 64th ranked) from the Grind, while Round 3 included 16 teams (17th to 32nd ranked) from that event.


How to watch Round 4?

All the matches of the BGIS Round 4 will be broadcast live on the YouTube channel of Krafton India Esports from 3:30 PM onwards each day. Here is the schedule for the fourth round;

  • May 23 - Group 1
  • May 24 - Group 2
  • May 25 - Group 3
  • May 26 - Group 4

These are the 16 clubs that entered Round 4 from the Grind event;

Krafton will announce the names of all the 48 qualified teams from the third round in the coming days. However, it is known that some popular teams like Carnival, XSpark, and WSB have made it into this round as their matches were livestreamed on the official Krafton India's YouTube channel. A few well-known clubs like Orangutan Gaming and Hydra Official were eliminated from the BGIS 2024 as they faltered in the third round.
