Mike Tyson shows interest in watching the Indian boxing flick 'Saala Khadoos'

Tyson wants to watch the recent released Tamil movie

Sports-centric movies always garner critical acclaim from all corners, which is why the trend of such films being made has been on an upward ascent.

The latest of the lot – a Tamil film based on boxing called Irudhi Suttru (Saala Khadoos in Hindi) – that features R Madhavan in the starring role, has caught the attention of boxing legend Mike Tyson.

‘Iron’ Mike took to Facebook and shared the Hindu’s review of the movie, adding a straight-forward note that read, ”I’d like to see this boxing film.” For a boxer with a storied career as Tyson’s, the makers of the movie surely did something right to grab his attention.

Irudhi Suttru (Saala Khadoo) follows the path of a boxing coach – impressively portrayed by R Madhavan – who goes on to discover a female boxing champion – played by Rithika Singh, in the Chennai slums.

The critics have loved every bit of the film, but what tops it is Tyson’s interest towards the movie.

Sudha Kongara, the director of the movie, would be eager to know how Tyson received the film after he watches it, and considering the rave reviews it has been getting, the movie would surely find a fan in the boxing legend.
