David Apolinar Jones Garcia, born on November 24, 2001, is a 22-year-old forward who is a free agent, as of 2024. Hailing from Scott Depot, West Virginia, Jones showcased his talent at the Teays Valley Christian School. He graduated early and committed to DePaul as a consensus three-star recruit in the 2020-21 season. Most recently, in the 2023-24 season, Jones played for the Memphis Tigers where he put up some of the best numbers in the country, garnering 21.8 points, 7.6 rebounds, 2.2 steals and 1.8 assists every game. He went undrafted in the 2024 NBA Draft and was later picked up by the Philadelphia 76ers on a two-way contract. But Jones was waived by the 76ers in September and still remains a free agent.

David Jones started his collegiate career at DePaul University and went on to make nine appearances for the Blue Demons averaging 5.1 points per game. He was ranked 12th in the BIG EAST with 1.0 blocks per match. In 2022, he decided to transfer to St. John’s where he made 31 appearances, out of which 17 were starts. But after just one season with the program, he decided to transfer to Memphis for the 2023-24 season. As a senior, Jones recorded a career-high 21.8 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 2.2 steals every game.
