Fletcher Loyer, born on September 1, 2003, is an American college basketball athlete who will play his third season with the Purdue Boilermakers. The 6ft 4inch shooting guard started his collegiate journey with Purdue over offers from Denver, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, Michigan State, Notre Dame, and Toledo. During his freshman season, Loyer started all 35 games for the program and ranked second on the team with 11 points and 2.4 assists per game. Last season as a sophomore, he recorded another outstanding campaign where he started all 39 games and averaged 10.3 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game.

Coming out of high school, Loyer was ranked the No.4 prospect in the state of Indiana and was ranked No.122 nationally in the 2022 recruiting class. During his senior year, he was named Indiana Gatorade Player of the Year after a sensational campaign with Homestead High School. Loyer led the Spartans to a 22-5 record and averaged 26.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 2.2 steals per game through 27 games. He also won the National High School three-point Championship in New Orleans.
