Jaloni Cambridge is a guard for the Big Ten Conference's Ohio State Buckeyes in collegiate basketball, as of the 2024-2025 season. She initially attended the Ensworth School before transferring to Montverde Academy. According to her college roster, she was rated a five-star prospect in the 2024 class by ESPN. From 2018 to 23, Jaloni Cambridge played for FBC United and was ranked by ESPN as the second-best player in the country for the Class of 2024. In 2023–24, she guided Montverde to its third consecutive national title at the Chipotle Nationals, as per her college roster. Jaloni won Division II-AA Miss Basketball three times and Tennessee Girls Basketball Player of the Year three times. As a senior, she won Florida MaxPreps Player of the Year and Florida Girls Basketball Gatorade Player of the Year. She committed to playing collegiate basketball at Ohio State on December 29, 2023, joining her sister, Kennedy, in doing so. According to her college roster, Cambridge represented the U.S.A. at the 2022 FIBA Under-17 Women's Basketball World Cup on June 7, 2022. According to her USA Basketball profile, she helped her team win a gold medal in the tournament with averages of 9.4 points, 3.9 rebounds, and a team-high 5.1 assists per game. She recorded a team-high 16 points, six rebounds, nine assists, and one steal in the gold medal match versus Spain. Later on, she was selected for the All-Tournament Team.
