Jordana Codio is a guard for the Texas Longhorns, as of March 2025, and is in her junior year. Codio attended American Heritage High School, where she averaged 22.1 points per game, 6.4 rebounds, and 2.3 steals per contest in the first three seasons overall. After her junior year, she transferred to the Monteverde Academy. According to her college roster, she was a No.67 recruit in the nation and the No. 11 guard overall according to ESPN W/HoopGurlz rankings. The player was also ranked the No. 82 prospect in the country and No.20 at her position according to her college roster. According to her college roster, she was a 2022 McDonald’s All-American Nominee and played 15 games for the Montverde Academy Eagles. During her senior year, she averaged 11.5 points per game which was second most in scoring. Codio also shot 44% from the floor.

After graduating high school, Codio committed to play college basketball at the University of Texas and play for the Texas Longhorns. She missed the 2022-23 season and her freshman year was limited following injury. According to her college roster, as a sophomore, she attended 15 games and recorded a season-high eight points against Louisiana Tech. She scored 27 and grabbed 8 rebounds, as per her college roster.
