Carmelo Anthony got caught searching for something regarding La La Anthony's heritage during an interview
Aside from a rising star son, La La Anthony is also known for having an NBA superstar ex-husband in Carmelo Anthony. Together with their son, Kiyan, the NBA legend sat down for an interview on "Close Friends on Instagram." There, the former New York Knicks star raised a few eyebrows regarding the last thing he searched on Instagram.
Kiyan Anthony, who will be heading to Syracuse in the fall, asked his father what the last thing he searched on Instagram was, and Carmelo candidly said he was searching for the “best Puerto Rican food in Brooklyn.” It should be noted that La La Anthony is of Puerto Rican descent, with Kiyan representing Puerto Rico for Team World during the Nike Hoop Summit in April because of this.
This has sparked a conversation among fans, even though the couple divorced in 2021. Carmelo did not elaborate on why he was looking for food from his ex-wife's heritage, but this fueled speculation amongfans. Despite the divorce, Carmelo and La La have remained good friends, especially when it comes to Kiyan.
