Arizona-bound shooting guard Bryce James probably has the most famous father in basketball, being the son of LA Lakers superstar LeBron James. On Sunday, Bryce posted a special Father's Day message for the four-time NBA champion, complete with a goat emoji.
"HAPPY FATHER'S DAY," Bryce wrote on his Instagram story.

The photo was taken in Paris as LeBron and Team USA's "Avengers" team competed in the 2024 Summer Olympics. The Americans won the gold medal, with LeBron being praised for his timeless performance. He averaged 14.2 points, 7.8 rebounds, 8.5 assists and 1.3 steals per game despite being one of the oldest players in the tournament at 39 years old.
Much like the other members of the team, LeBron brought his family, including wife Savannah and children Bronny, Bryce and Zhuri.
LeBron is a proud father, and he has been present during some of Bryce's most important high school games. These include the CIF Division I state championship win in March, celebrating wildly when Sierra Canyon School (California) pulled away late in the game.
LeBron explains why he never gets involved in Bryce James' coaching
LeBron James revealed during his and Steve Nash's "Mind the Game" podcast on Sunday that he never gets involved in how his kids are coached. He said that he gives his sons' coaches his full trust in developing their games.
"I've never got involved with my kids' coaches," James said. "From Bronny growing up to where he is now, and Bryce on his way to Tucson to Arizona, I've never got involved. I've never went to a practice and sat through practice the whole time to see how my son was being utilized. I never got on the phone with the coaches.
"Listen, coach my son — coach him however you want to. And I think you need to hold him accountable. I hope you hold him more accountable than any other kid here, and say the f*** you need to say, no matter how it's being said. If you can just take the message and not about how he said it — just take the message out of it — I think that builds character as well."
Bryce James will play for Arizona under Kevin Lloyd, who is known for molding many players into NBA stars.
