USC Trojans coach Lindsay Gottlieb says JuJu Watkins is all in toward recovery
In April, USC Trojans coach Lindsay Gottlieb provided a brief update on JuJu Watkins to TMZ Sports regarding her recovery from her torn ACL. There is no definite timetable for her return, but given that torn ACLs take around 10 to 12 months to recover and be in the best shape to compete, the now junior could return after the first half of next season.
"She's doing great. She's doing great. She's in focus mode, rehab mode," Gottlieb said via TMZ.com.
Even after Watkins was sidelined, Gottlieb and Co. managed to make it into the Elite Eight of the 2025 NCAA national tournament. They were eliminated by the eventual champions the UConn Huskies, 78-64.
