Cayden Boozer is headed to his first college basketball year with the Duke Blue Devils this season. ESPN ranks him as the No. 16 overall prospect in the nation, known for his playmaking and poise under pressure. He joins Jon Scheyer's recruiting class with his brother, Cameron Boozer, a No. 2 player in the country.
The Boozer Twins have already begun their integration with the school. They were spotted working out in Durham alongside their father, Carlos Boozer, earlier this month. Moreover, it seems like Cayden has already struck a chord with his future teammates as he hyped up Nikolas Khamenia's graduation images on Instagram.
"This might make me cry fr," Cayden commented on the post.

Khamenia, a 6-foot-8 forward, is ranked the fourth-best recruit out of California (top-20 in the nation). He graduated from the Harvard-Westlake School, where he made a case for being a potential one-and-done college standout.
The wing joins Cameron and Cayden Boozer, Sebastian Wilkins and Dame Sarr to make up Jon Scheyer's 2025 recruiting class, which is ranked best in the nation by 247Sports.
Why did Cameron and Cayden Boozer choose Jon Scheyer's Duke?
The Boozer twins were two of the most anticipated recruits in the 2025 class, garnering offers from schools like North Carolina, Arkansas, Kentucky and others. However, they did not take the time to announce their siding with Duke, declaring their commitment at the beginning of the 2024-25 season.
"We talk about how everyone is their own player - Cooper (Flagg), (Jayson) Tatum, Zion (Williamson), Paolo (Banchero) are all different," Cameron Boozer shared with Hoops HQ.
"The reality is we just have to be ourselves and he's (Jon Scheyer) going to help us be the best version of ourselves."
Cayden Boozer is one of the best passers in the 2025 class. The 6-foot-5 point guard can orchestrate plays on the go, be it in half-court scenarios or transition. He was the assists leader at the 2024 FIBA U17 World Cup with 6.4 dimes per contest, leading Team USA to the gold.
The guard also earned the MVP honors at the Nike EYBL's U16 Peach Jam championship game.
