Flau'jae Johnson called out teen star Oliviyah Edwards after she learned that the top high school prospect will be joining forces with JuJu Watkins in the upcoming Next Up 5s event. Overtime Select's Instagram page posted Johnson and Edwards' conversation on Friday, with the post already receiving more than 2,000 likes.

Johnson showed her disappointment, albeit sarcastically, when Edwards informed her that she would be Watkins' assistant coach in Overtime's 5-on-5 event. Johnson and Watkins have been selected to lead the two teams participating in the takeover event, which features the nation's top young female hoopers.

"You're on JuJu's team? Get out. I don't wanna do this interview," Johnson told Edwards.
"I didn't pick that though. Like I didn't," Edwards explained.
"So you're coaching against me, so I can't even tell you what I have planned. Is it because we lost to Paige? Is that whatcha doin?" Johnson asked.
"No, I don't care about none of that, alright? I miss you guys, like it's no hate, you feel me? But on the court, all that, it just disappears. But off the court, it's all love," Edwards replied.

Flau'jae Johnson later asked Oliviyah Edwards what her mindset and game plan are heading into the match. Edwards admitted that she is not a good coach, drawing laughs from the LSU star.

How Flau'jae Johnson fared as a coach in her last Overtime event against Paige Bueckers

Flau'jae Johnson has coached top high school players in the 5x5 showcase before. She faced former UConn star Paige Bueckers in last year's Next Up 5s event, in a team led by teen phenom Jezelle "GG" Banks.

Banks stepped up for Johnson in that takeover event, recording 25 points, nine rebounds and nine assists in an all-around performance. Her efforts went for naught, though, as Bueckers' team pulled off a thrilling 105-102 victory.

Johnson showed love to Banks after the game, sharing on her Instagram story that she is her new favorite high school hooper. With Bueckers now playing in the WNBA, the LSU guard will look to finally capture that win when she takes on fellow coach JuJu Watkins.
