Sara Scalia is a professional basketball guard for the Magnolia Campobosso in Italy's Seria A league. Previously, she had a five-year collegiate career with the Indiana Hoosiers in the Big-Ten Conference. However, she went undrafted in the 2024 WNBA Draft and later signed with the Italian professional team. Sara has won the St. Paul Area Athena Award, received the All-Conference team honors four times and All-State honors twice. She won the Pioneer Press East Metro Girls Basketball Player of the Year title as a senior after averaging 22.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 2.6 steals per game. As a senior, she guided her team back to the state tournament for the first time in 31 years, and as a junior, she averaged 26.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, 3.3 steals, and 3.1 assists per game. After a stellar high school career, Scalia joined the Indiana Hoosiers in 2019.

During her freshman season, she averaged 16.3 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists, earning a spot on the Big-Ten All-Freshman team in 2020. During her junior year, she averaged 17.9 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists, earning All-Big Ten Second team honors in 2022. However during her fifth year, she averaged 16.3 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists, earning First-team All-Big Ten honors in 2024.
