Saylor Poffenbarger is a college basketball player and plays guard for the Maryland Terrapins in the Big Ten Conference, as of January 2025. She formerly played for the UConn Huskies for one season in 2020 and the Arkansas Razorbacks from 2021 to 2024. She was recognized as the 13th-best guard in her class and the 30th-best recruit. She won conference Player of the Year twice and made the all-state first team twice. Saylor was crowned Ms. Maryland Basketball in 2020.

As a redshirt freshman for Arkansas, Saylor was selected to the SEC All-Freshman Team and won SEC Freshman of the Week five times. She led the conference and set a school record. She tied the school record by starting all 37 games as a freshman. As a redshirt sophomore, Saylor Poffenbarger started each of the 30 games she played. She was the team's top scorer in both defensive rebounds, recording 283 rebounds and rebounds per game at 11.2. She had 14 double-figure scoring games at the end of her redshirt sophomore year.
