Sydney Parrish is a forward for the Indiana Hoosiers and plays as a junior in the 2024-2025 season. Parrish hails from Fishers, Indiana, and attended Hamilton Southeastern High School. She spent two seasons playing at the University of Oregon before transferring to Indiana. As a freshman at Oregon, she played in 23 games, scoring 6.0 points and grabbing 2.7 rebounds per game. She was also named Pac-12 Freshman of the Week. During her sophomore season, she appeared in 23 games, starting two games, and was positioned 10th in the Pac-12 for scoring the most three-pointers. At Indiana, Parrish averaged 12.0 points and 5.4 rebounds per game. She started 26 games, had four double-doubles, and led the team with the most steals. As a senior, she played 25 games, starting in 24, and averaged 10.8 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game. She reached 1,000 career points in the regular-season finale and recorded a team-high 21 points in the Sweet 16 against South Carolina. As of March 2025, Parrish has averaged 11.8 points and 5.8 rebounds in 27 games for the Hoosiers in the 2024/25 campaign (via ESPN).

Sydney Parrish had a remarkable career at Hamilton Southeastern in Fishers, Indiana. She was a five-star recruit and was ranked as the No. 8 player in the ESPNW Top 100 for the class of 2020. She took Hamilton Southeastern to the 2019 Indiana Class 4A state championship, earning MVP honors. Parrish was named Indiana Miss Basketball in 2020 to be the state's top player. Parrish was also named to the McDonald's All-American team and competed in the Jordan Brand Classic game. She scored more than 1,700 career points during high school and earned All-State selections four times. As a member of the United States women’s basketball team, Parrish won a gold medal at the 2019 FIBA U19 Women's Basketball World Cup.
