Toby Fournier plays college basketball at Duke Blue Devils women's basketball in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). As of January 2025, Toby Fournier is a freshman and plays as a forward for the Blue Devils. According to her college roster, Fournier was a member of Toronto's Crestwood Preparatory College. She played for the World Select squad at the Nike Hoop Summit. Fournier was rated as a five-star recruit by ESPN and she committed to play college basketball at Duke University after graduating from Crestwood Prep.

According to her college roster, Fournier was named a 2024 Jordan Brand All-American and ranked 10th in the ESPNW 2024 Class. In addition, she won two OSBA High School titles in 2023 and 2024 and twice won the OSBA Pool A Regular Season and Tournament MVP award in 2023 and 2024. Fournier was named an All-Star in the 2023 FIBA U19 World Championship Tournament and took home a bronze in the competition, according to the Duke Blue Devils' official website. At the 2022 FIBA U17 World Cup, she assisted in leading Canada to a fourth-place result.
