Born on February 22, 2020, Trayce Jackson-Davis is an American basketball player who currently plays as a centre for the Golden State Warriors in the NBA. Rising from Centre Grove High School, Jackson-Davis was awarded the 2019 Indiana Mr. Basketball which recognizes the top high school basketballer in the state of Indiana. He was rated as a four-year recruit by 247Sports and ESPN before committing to playing college basketball for the Indiana Hoosiers.

Jackson-Davis was selected 57th overall by the Golden State Warriors in the second round of the 2023 NBA draft. In his debut season, the forward has garnered 333 points, 199 rebounds and 46 assists in just 49 games. Playing alongside veterans like Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson will possibly extend the beginning of a promising professional career.

A curious four-year-old Trayce Jackson-Davis was involved in a dangerous accident with an exercise band which resulted in a severe forehead injury, facilitating seven hours of brain injury. During the surgery, the doctors had to cut the scalp and peel his skin down to tie up the fractured area. They also had to remove a few pieces of bone out of his brain cavity and put them back together like a ‘puzzle.’

Jackson-Davis was also involved in another accident where a golf club was smacked on the side of his face, resulting in having a plate screwed to his cheeks.
