His performance was instrumental in guiding Prolific Prep to the GEICO High School Basketball National Tournament, where they achieved an upset by defeating the nation's top-ranked team, Sunrise Christian Academy, advancing to the semifinals. White began his collegiate career at the University of Southern California (USC) before transferring to the University of Louisville for a season. In the 2024-2025 season, he joined the Illinois Fighting Illini. During his time at USC, White played 33 games and started in 29. He also scored in double figures 11 times and was named to the Pac-12 All-Freshman Team. For his sophomore season, he transferred to the Louisville Cardinals. At Louisville, he played 29 games, averaging 12.3 ppg, 5.9 rebounds, and shooting 45.6% from the floor. That same year, he also underwent an injury, missing three ACC games.
