Former Michigan Wolverines quarterback J.J. McCarthy was selected by the Minnesota Vikings as their No. 10 pick in the 2024 NFL draft on Thursday. To celebrate and support him on his big day, Katya Kuropas, McCarthy's fiancée, also attended the draft.
The couple looked stylish and sophisticated in their special draft-day outfits. Both of them chose to wear dark-colored ensembles. While the new Vikings quarterback donned a charcoal gray blazer with a black turtleneck and same-colored pants, Kuropas wore an all-black jumpsuit made of leather. She added gold-toned necklaces, earrings and a bracelet to her look.
One of the most interesting parts of her outfit was her bedazzled football-shaped bag. The bag added a unique contrast to her stylish outfit. A similar kind of bag was seen with pop star Taylor Swift when she attended the 2024 Super Bowl to support her boyfriend and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

Former Michigan Wolverines quarterback J.J. McCarthy was a draft favorite among many fans and analysts. He won a national championship and the Rose Bowl, while his fiancée supported him throughout his journey. Looking back at the year, Katya Kuropas uploaded a post that had a heartfelt letter as a caption.
She wrote in the caption that she was saying goodbye to Michigan and Ann Arbor.
"Extremely delayed but… Reminiscing on how amazing this past season was. An abundance of blessings and the best memories. Feeling so grateful for everything that unfolded & for everyone that was part of it!! Sad to see this chapter go, but excited for the next one🫶🏽," Kuropas wrote.
Fans will be excited to watch McCarthy play for the Minnesota Vikings and for his fiancee to appear on the sidelines in her best outfits.
