Former Michigan Wolverines OL Trevor Keegan was drafted as the 172nd overall pick by the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2024 NFL Draft. Keegan began his collegiate career at Ann Arbor in 2019. And after winning the national championship under ex-head coach Jim Harbaugh last season, the OL made his transition into the NFL.

After joining the Eagles, Trevor Keegan recently became the talk of the town after his recent comparison of the team's crowd enthusiasm with that of Michigan's. Now, the former Michigan OL has come forward on social media to clear the confusion surrounding his statement.

In a tweet he recently posted on X, Keegan clarified that he did not mean to disrespect the Michigan Wolverines and its fanbase, stating that it was just exciting to see the Eagles' fanbase in the NFL.

Trevor Keegan's comments came after Philadelphia's public practice session at Lincoln Financial Field on Thursday. He stated that the fans who went to watch the Eagles' public practice were louder than Michigan fans at the stands in Ann Arbor.

"I even got a little emotional going over to the stadium. I don't know how many people were there, but it was louder than Michigan's stadium. It was rockin'. I got goosebumps," Keegan said as per Philadelphia Eagles' official website.

Football fans took to the comment section of Trevor Keegan's clarification tweet to share their opinions about the comparison he made between Michigan and Philadelphia's fanbase.

One fan stated that they believed media outlets took his comment out of context.
