Lane Kiffin is gearing up for his sixth season with the Ole Miss Rebels. In the middle of his offseason preparations, he decided to show off his talent in another sport.
Kiffin participated in the Ole Miss Celebrity Softball game that included other Ole Miss legends and coaches.
On Instagram, Lane Kiffin shared stories of his time playing on the pitch. One post showcased him running bases. In another clip, we see Lane Kiffin walk onto the field to Taylor Swift's song 'Bad Blood.' The Ole Miss coach has been vocal about being a fan of the iconic pop star.

Another participant at the Celebrity softball game was Rebels' women's basketball coach, Yolett McCuin. She has been with the program for the past seven seasons.
In a viral clip posted by Ole Miss Athletics, McCuin throws a pitch to Kiffin. Her pitch managed to strike out the football head coach as it landed in the hands of the catcher.
The event took place as a charity game to raise money for The Groove Collective, the University's exclusive NIL program.
Last season, Lane Kiffin helped the Rebels to a 10-3 campaign and a Gator Bowl victory over the Duke Blue Devils. However, he has yet to help the team qualify for the playoffs since taking over in 2020.
Lane Kiffin once shared his thoughts on Taylor Swift's new album
In June 2024, the Ole Miss coach sat down for an exclusive interview with the Clarion Ledger. Kiffin was questioned about his thoughts on Taylor Swift's album, called the 'Tortured Poets Department.'
Kiffin gave an in-depth analysis of Swift's latest album.
"I would say this: It's a much different album, in my opinion, than her previous music. I say that as, I still like it, but maybe not as much. I understand why other people do. I think it's a little more sophisticated....."
"I understand why people like it, but a lot of times when I listen to it, it's either on a playlist for the Yoga classes in the morning, or it's on loudspeakers during pickleball. So, it kind of doesn't fit as much into that, because it's not as upbeat, where her older stuff is more upbeat.... It's just very different that way."
Lane Kiffin stated that his favorite song from the 'Tortured Poets Department' album was 'My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys.' He stated that the lyrics of the song were similar to the path he walks in his life.
