Deion Sanders is gearing up for his third season with the Colorado Buffaloes. Last season, he helped the program to a 9-4 campaign and their first bowl game appearance since 2020. After losing to the BYU Cougars in the Alamo Bowl, several key players left the team to declare for the 2025 NFL draft. This included his sons, Shedeur and Shilo and the 2024 Heisman winner, Travis Hunter.

Deion Sanders revamped the roster through the transfer portal and recruitment. One player expected to take on a bigger role on the field for the Buffs this year was running back Isaiah Augustave. However, Coach Prime suffered a massive setback following Augstave's recent decision.

On Wednesday, Isaiah Augustave announced that he has transferred to play for the South Carolina Gamecocks. He announced the decision through a post on social media with a graphic of him in a Gamecocks jersey.

"Ready to get to work," the running back wrote in the caption of the post.

Fans took to the comments to share their thoughts and reactions to Isaiah Agustave leaving Deion Sanders' team.

"Leaving the (Buffs) bout to haunt you like Judas! Just goofy," one fan commented.
"Dude bounced around like a blunt," this fan said.

Others were excited to see him play in the SEC conference.

"He's about to ball over there!! SC got them a really good RB," this fan wrote.

"Way to upgrade programs young man," another fan said.
"Now this is the right route to go when you transfer. I hate seeing guys transfer to small programs. Ball out big Dawg," one fan commented.

Isaiah Agustave began his collegiate journey with Arkansas in 2023. After one season, he joined Deion Sanders' team. During the 2024 season, the running back played 11 games and recorded 384 yards and four TDs rushing.

WR Joseph Williams opens up about his interaction with Deion Sanders

One top prospect that Deion Sanders and his team got this offseason was wide receiver Joseph Williams. He played for Tusla as a true freshman last season and was honored as the ACC Freshman of the Year.

On Sunday, "Reach the People Media" held a podcast session with Joseph Williams. The wide receiver talked about his conversation with Deion Sanders and how it enticed him to join the Buffs.

"I'm not gonna say the school, but the school made the phone call when I told them I wanted the No.8 (jersey)," Williams said. "He said, 'Yeah, reserve the number until I say otherwise.' Like, I had the number. But then, Coach Prime said I had to come in and earn it."
"What really got me is he's not gonna give me what I want. Because he knows he has other guys that are, like, good also. So, I have to come in an earn everything I get..... He's not gonna give it to me. Other schools weren't telling me that."

The Buffs begin their 2025 campaign with a season opener against Georgia Tech on August 30. The game is scheduled to be played at Folsom Field. Will Coach Prime be able to lead the program to a Big 12 title and a spot in the 12-team playoffs in Year 3?
