"Literally copy and pasted from last year": Fans disappointed with EA CFB 26's players runout clip at Death Valley

EA CFB 26 is set to release on June 10. Last year, the company revived the once-beloved football game by releasing College Football 25. Despite skepticism, the game was well-received by the community and fans who were waiting for a sequel since NCAA Football 14. The franchise went on a hiatus for over a decade before making a comeback in 2024.

Given the success of College Football 25, there has been hype surrounding EA CFB 26's release. On Saturday, On3 released a clip giving fans a glimpse of the tunnel walkout in the new game.

The clip showcases the LSU Tigers' walkout routine in college football 26 as they take on the Arkansas Razorbacks. The showdown took place in Death Valley, and the game tried to capture the atmosphere of this high-octane showdown.

However, fans were left disappointed after seeing the walkout in EA CFB 26. They shared their dismay while also pointing out how similar it looked to what they had experienced in College Football 25.

"Graphics and everything is literally copy and pasted from last year.." one fan commented.

"Why does the player run out kind look like 25" another fan questioned.

"I thought they said they were gonna make commentary better," this fan wrote.

"EA packaging and re-gifting the same thing and y'all fall for it every time," another fan said.

"S**t looks like the last one what's the hype about it's really not much more they can do to this game," one fan commented.

On Friday, Matt Liberman reported that EA CFB 26 has a new system to pay schools for using them in the game. According to these new setups, these schools will earn royalties based on their usage in the game by fans.

What is the cost of EA CFB 26?

College Football 26 will be available in three different editions for fans. Fans can either purchase the standard edition, the deluxe edition, or the MVP bundle. The MVP bundle will also include Madden 26 for fans who want to play both games.

The standard edition is priced at $69.99. It includes a few pre-order bonuses such as CUT All Hands Ultimate Team Pack, Road to Glory points, and Dynasty Coach Points. The deluxe edition retails at $99.99 and includes early access to CFB 26 with additional bonuses compared to the standard edition.

The MVP bundle includes the base game of College Football 26 and Madden 26. It is priced at $149.99 but includes all the bonuses of the deluxe edition. Fans who pre-ordered this bundle before April 29 receive a 99 overall Travis Hunter player item in CFB 25 and Madden 25.
